Some of my co-interns already asked permission to take a leave on this day since Thursday and Friday would be holidays. Since only a few of us would be coming in, we were told that we could choose not to go in this day and enjoy the super long weekend instead.
Apparently, we interns think alike. None of us reported to work this day. Hello summer vacation! (At last)
